Shipping policy

Processing Time

  • We are only shipping within New Zealand at this time.
  • All orders are custom-made and take approximately 5 weeks to produce.
  • Once your order is shipped, we will notify you via email with tracking information.

Damaged Items – Important to claim Courier Damage within 24 Hours

  • Your curtains and tracks will be well packaged but should you note any damage or tears on packaging, please write STI (subject to inspection) on the couriers docket.
  • When STI is written on your courier docket, Our couriers then provide a 24 hour window to place a claim for damage, so please notify us within 24 hours at help@designcurtains.co.nz or phone us on 021 280 2553
  • We suggest taking photos of damaged packaging before you unwrap the product to check your items inside. Approved claims, made within the 24hour window will qualify for a replacement or repair at no additional cost. Claims made after 24 hours of you receiving products are subject to the couriers terms and may be declined.

Defective Items

Our sewers and manufacturers take great pride in providing high quality product. If you feel that your product is defective please notify us within 24 hours of receiving it. We will assess the defects and guide you through the claim process. Approved claims for defective product will qualify for a replacement or repair at no additional cost.


Shipping Rates & Delivery

  • Standard Shipping: Delivery is usually within 4 business days after dispatch, however Far North and South Island can take up to a week. Rates are calculated at checkout based on your location.

Delivery Issues

  • If your order is delayed or lost in transit, please contact us at help@designcurtains.co.nz We will work with the courier to resolve the issue.
